THE CLIENT

Boostball is a high protein snack product made from 7 natural ingredients, launched into the healthy snacks category just under 2 years ago. All of the variants are vegetarian and made without gluten or dairy. 2 of the variants are vegan. Boostball is targeting people with an already established interest in health and wellbeing.

EXISTING SOCIAL MEDIA ACTIVITY 

Facebook and Twitter channel with sporadic posting. High number of followers but limited engagement.

CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVE

Raise awareness of Boostball and the benefits of the snack

OUR SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY

The social media campaign was designed to raise brand awareness using the platforms Facebook and Twitter.  It communicates small lifestyle changes people can make to lead healthier lives. Content focussed on the following key themes:

  • Food and diet ideas, suggestions and inspiration with a soft focus on breakfast, snacking and healthier treats and post workout nutrition.
  • Exercise and fitness.
  • Wellbeing – including mind, body and soul. Taking inspiration from meditation, yoga and psychology.
  • Sport – celebration of sport and sporting achievements and up and coming events.

The tone of the campaign needs to be Fun, friendly, positive and informative. The campaign will be supported by adverts across Facebook and Twitter to try and assist with driving brand awareness.

RESULTS

Increased overall reach by over 300%  and doubled the engagement rate.
